Dr. Kevin Dang was one of top three students admitted to the University of Washington, School of Dentistry in 1996. After graduation in 2000, he worked at public dental clinics, and continued to pursue his interests in oral surgery and restorative dentistry. Dr. Dang established his private practice in 2001, and has served the communities surrounding the Everett area since. His interests continue to expand to oral implantology and orthodontics.

Dr. Dang is a conservative dentist, emphasizing on preventive care and restoration. He also devotes his effort in providing dental care to the underserved communities of ethnic backgrounds, the low incomes and vulnerable children. In 2012, Snohomish County Dental Society awarded his long on-going devotion to community service with Special Recognition.

Prior to biological science, Dr. Kevin Dang graduated in 1987 from the University of California at Berkeley with a bachelor degree in Computer Science. He started at Digital Equipment Corp in Palo Alto, CA, attended lectures at Stanford University on business administration and computer software. He enjoyed working on computer-aided designs, graphics and animation.

In 1992, Dr. Dang joined an elite group of software engineers at Steve Jobs’ NeXT Computer, Inc. in Redwood City, CA. He had the best time of his life working with Steve Jobs, other brilliant engineers in designing and implementing the most advanced operating system NeXTstep and animation software Pixar’s Renderman.

Dr. Dang has started two software companies. The first is Dental Space to develop cloud database and management software for dentistry. The second is Calalia to develop a modern healthcare job network. He is currently looking for investors, management members and software gurus.

Outside of dual professional careers, he enjoys watercolor painting, traveling, sailing, kayaking, biking and flying a trike.
